As the old saying goes, "Nothing is sure except death and taxes". Well, I think that nothing is sure except death, God and change.
Death is something that is always with us. There's the death of the body after it has been worn out in this life. Then, there is death that follows judgment. We have a choice of whether we receive eternal life or not. If not, then death of the soul occurs. We completely and absolutely cease to exist.
God is always there. God is everywhere. God knows everything we do. God is the ultimate in constants and stability. No matter what, he is always, and will always be, there.
Change is constant. Something somewhere is changing. The earth is eroding, we are getting older, the things we do as a community. This newsletter. Which, by the way, brings me to the focus of this.
You may have noticed a change. Yes, in the newsletter. A different format, a different title. So, why THIS change? I'm glad you asked that.
This change came about because the Pastor and I noticed that everyone in the church reads this newsletter. So, instead of having it as only the youth newsletter, we decided to make it for the whole church. I hope you will enjoy it, and I hope that you will contribute to it, as well. In Christ.
